This sermon is based on the text from Nehemiah 8:1-12, the celebration of the completion of the rebuilding of the Temple and the reading of the Books of the Law. Nehemiah called the people to put away mourning and grief over their having disappointed God, and to allow the "Joy of the Lord to Be their Strength." This sermon is ultimately about joy and celebration by the believer because of the amazing nature of the God we worship.
