Today' sermon is based on the parable of the Good Samaritan told by Jesus in Luke 10:25-37. Although it portrays a hated enemy in a positive light and thus confounds his hearers, Jesus makes his point that the definition of 'neighbor' is more about what you do than where you live. His techinque of questioning the questioner and of telling parables engages the reader and makes you want to hear how he brings it all together.
