This Christmas Eve morning sermon addresses the reality of the birth of Jesus. This truth is confused sometimes by the many "fantasy" characters like "Frosty," "Rudolph," "Snoopy," and others. Jesus' birth in a manger made him accesssible to everyone even including the lowly shepherds. The sermon focuses on the "manger scene" and suggests that just as the manger was actually a feeding place, Jesus continues to nourish our spirits even today if we'll feast on him by faith with thanksgiving. that feasting is symbolized in the italian word "manga" which means to eat.
