This sermon "Conformed or Transformed" is based on Romans 12:1-2. It comes after the first 11 chapters of Romans that focuses on the human condition, God's provision in Christ and the diffference he makes in the hope for humanity. Chapter 12 and following contains the practical outcomes for people who believe what paul spoke of in the first 11 chapters. He begins Romans 12:1 with the word "therefore". That word implies something that has gone before and that what is about to follow is a natural consequence of what has been said. He challenges the early church to live out it's inheritance; to live as people who are being changed on the inside being transformed and renewed in light of God's mercies for them in Jesus Christ.
